About
Robert Dow
– Dog Lover –
It all started with a lost dog in 2003.
Rob and his wife, Tracey, took a road trip out west, driving through the desert near Four Corners. Atop a sand dune in the middle of nowhere, they found Colorado, their first rescue dog. She loved them for 14 ½ wonderful years.
To date, 7 rescue dogs have become a part of Rob’s family and changed his life for the better, walking beside him as he dealt with health issues. The most recent rescue, Sam, required another road trip to California to prevent euthanasia, but Rob didn’t hesitate. He hopped in the truck to save Sam before time ran out. Upon adoption, Sam was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, and Rob knew God had brought them together as kindred spirits.
Now Rob wants to share his love for dogs with the residents of Homer Glen through his dog-walking services. He hopes to provide quality exercise and care to the Fuzzy Butts who teach us the meaning of unconditional love.
